This long-term option involves biweekly reporting and correspondence with your coach. You will receive custom instructions and feedback every other week. This is what we recommend for most of our clients.
If you are an athlete who ever plans on competing in the future, we truly believe there is a tremendous advantage to working with your coach year-round. What you do in between competition seasons is just as important as what you do leading up to them. When you and your coach decide the time is right, you will be shifted onto our weekly competition roster.
If you are a non-competitive lifter who simply wants the accountability, assistance, and education that comes from having a coach, this option is what we recommend for you. This can be viewed as a long term solution for ongoing results, or as a stepping stone to an eventual competitive career if you ever choose to do so.
Training, nutrition, and cardio are all interrelated and effect one another, so we program all of these aspects when you sign up with us. We utilize a biweekly report format using a combination of video messaging, video/picture updates of physique progress, videos of lifting technique, and excel-based programming spreadsheets to help our clients achieve their goals.
We fully believe in the title “coach”. We do not simply adjust macronutrients and training. Coaching is about forming relationships, setting expectations, mentorship, and good communication. It is our role to help each person find an enjoyable, sustainable approach for a long and successful lifting journey.

WHO WILL BE MY COACH?
3D Muscle Journey is a team of professionals. Although we are made up of four individual coaches, we all follow the same key coaching principles and stand by each other’s methods 100%. We collaborate and meet as a staff very frequently, and have systems built into our operations to ensure that our athletes are receiving the same quality of care across the board.
That said, we do not accept individual coaching requests. Our team administrator disburses incoming applications based on roster availability.
WHEN SHOULD I BEGIN MY COACHING JOURNEY?
As soon as possible! There is no special requirement or time frame to begin long-term coaching with Team 3DMJ.
If you are an off-season athlete who is definitely approaching a bodybuilding or powerlifting competition phase within the next year, we recommend you check out our competition coaching page. If you know you have at least a year, feel free to sign-up with this option now.
If you are a non-competitive lifter, any time is the best time to get started.
HOW LONG WILL I BE ON THE 3DMJ ATHLETE ROSTER?
As long as you are continuing correspondence with your coach, following your program, and putting forth appropriate efforts, you will be a part of Team 3DMJ.
Some people feel that a few months of coaching is enough to give them the confidence to step out on their own. Others prefer the ongoing direction and clarity that a coach can provide, so they stay with us for years on end. Everyone’s journey is different and we completely understand and support that.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
All of our coaching services begin with a one-time initiation fee to cover the cost of your initial Skype video call and the creation of your program. Once you are on our roster, biweekly coaching is paid for on an ongoing monthly basis. All athletes must agree to a minimum of 2 months upfront, and then you simply roll over to a monthly billing schedule. Discounts are available to students, active military, fire, and police.
One-Time Start-Up Fee: $200
Ongoing Cost of Coaching: $165 per month, due on the first day of the month
*All prices are in U.S. Dollars
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Once you contact the team and agree to our terms, you will complete an initial application to obtain the necessary information regarding your current situation, training, diet, cardio, physique, or education, depending on what your call is for. This questionnaire also informs us as to when you plan to compete (if at all), and allows us to devise a time table and plan for this current phase in your journey. It is essential you give as much detail as possible to aid us in creating an efficient customized program.
