The unfortunate reality of human existence is that we aren’t born with equal abilities or opportunities. We are a product of nature and nurture, but nurture (learned/taught behavior and the subsequent action you take) can only make up for so much. Some of us are born into abject poverty even by third world standards. Warm-ups, like programs, are not made of good or bad movements. Sure, we need them to prevent injuries, but the exact methods and exercises within said warm-up can include a wide variety of practices while still remaining beneficial.
Quite often when experiencing slow or non-existent fat loss during a dieting phase the first instinct might be to cut back on calories and or to add in more cardio. Sure, that can definitely expedite the fat loss process, but depending on where one is at in the fat loss phase and/or where protocols are at (calories and cardio), it may not be the best option available.
